How to use your mobile as Broadband Router?

Dear Friends, Today we learn how can we use our mobile as broadband and use external wifi as broadband. Sometimes we have a problem to connect our laptop/computer with wifi due to driver issue or some other issue. But did you know these all problems can be resolved by using your mobile?

Yes, You read absolutely right. There are two methods to use your mobile as broadband.

1. Using your mobile data 
2. Using your mobile as an external wifi modem

Method No. 1

In this method just use your charging cable and connect this to laptop and mobile. Now go to Settings - Connections - Mobile Hotspot and Tethering - USB Tethering. Click switch icon to enable USB tethering. Enable this option can make your mobile a broadband device and your computer/laptop connectivity icon will be changed to a broadband connection (like below image)

If you can see this icon on the right side bottom of your computer/laptop, it means your system is connected with mobile and ready to use for internet. It will totally depend on the speed of your network service provider. 

Method No. 2

This method can be applied to use your mobile like an external lan modem. For Example you are already connected with a wifi on your laptop but the network strength is too much low and internet speed is very low but the same connection is working fast in your mobile then you can switch your mobile connectivity to your laptop. 

To use this go to Settings - Connections - Mobile Hotspot and Tethering - USB Tethering. Click switch icon to enable USB tethering. Enable this option can make your mobile a broadband device and your computer/laptop connectivity icon will be changed to a broadband connection. Now your mobile work like a modem which is used to improve your existing wifi signal through mobile. Now your laptop have a strong network connection.
