How to Create Company in Tally Prime?

Friends, as you know Tally Prime is the latest update of Tally Software which has some very good features like E-Invoicing. But Tally also change lots of options in this version like the chart of ledgers and change options to create company, ledgers, groups, inventory, cost center, etc., so in this post, we know about how to create the company in Tally Prime.

How to Create Company in Tally Prime?

To create a company open Tally Prime and a list will be open on your Tally Screen:

Select Create company option and enter the required details as below:

Save the details and the system show you to create a company successfully.

Now it's time to set up the compliance in Tally Prime.

If you are a registered person in GSTIN, Income Tax, and TDS then you must need to set up the compliance in your Tally Prime. 

But you need to know about 

How to Setup Statutory Compliances in Tally Prime:

After creating a company a new window appears on your computer/laptop screen showing the company created successfully and also appearing some options like below image:

In the above picture, the highlighted portion pertains to Statutory Compliances.

1. Goods & Service Tax
2. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
3. Tax Collected at Source (TCS)
4. Value Added Tax (VAT)
5. Excise 
6. Service Tax

Select yes to the compliance applicable to your company and enter the required details.

If select GSTIN then enter State, Registration Type, GSTIN registration applicable date, GSTIN No., return filing period.

In the same manner, if you select TDS or TCS then enter your TAN and required details.
